Central to its regional mission is the Africa Breast Cancer Ambition, a bold initiative to rewrite the continent's survival narrative. Currently, only 5 in 10 African women survive breast cancer; Roche aims to increase this to 8 in 103 by 20404. To achieve this, Roche is committed to three critical pillars:

  • Early Detection: Increasing stage I/II diagnoses from 30% to 60%.5
  • Faster Diagnosis: Reducing the journey from symptoms to treatment to just 60 days.6
  • Treatment Access: Ensuring 80% of patients receive the standard of care.7
